Family Home Evening Signs

Hi! Here's the Family Home Evening Sign. They're GREAT for gifts. The ones I make are made of wood and are 2 feet wide by 8" tall. The price is $10 for the entire kit which includes:

• The wood- already sanded and ready to paint
• the vinyl
• the decorative nails
• Hangers for the back
• paint brushes
• sand paper for distressing the edges (if you'd like)

I'm not including the paint- so you can choose some that match your decor. If you'd like the standard black or burgundy paint, just add $1 to the cost and I'll pick some up for you. If you are buying your own craft paint use the FOLK brand- it's the thickest and it covers (I think) the best.

There are m any things you can hang from the nails- the craft store has wood stars, hearts or I can make you the blocks you see above. I have small picture frames on mine with a picture of each member of the family, instead of the written names. Works great if you have little chidlren. If you'd like vinyl names, add $1

Holiday Gift Fun!

Okay folks, the holidays are coming and vinyl is a great way to make cute gifts and stay in your budget. If you have something in mind let me know. Email works great for me- if it's a quote, let me know the length, height and color and if you have a font in mind, give me the name of the quote- I'll either have it, or can get it. I also have a bunch of cute graphics and logos as well. If you'd rather meet with me, let me know and we can arrange it.

CRAFT GROUP THIS FRIDAY AT 10

Here's what we're doing:

Fall with flower (or leaves and a ribbon): $5
Just Fall blocks: $4
4 Halloween Image Blocks: $2.00

If you didn't get to come last week and want to do the Halloween block you can for $2.50.

The cost is a little higher on the blocks not done in the black- the black vinyl was donated by the awesome Mrs. Heather James. If you wan the "fall" done in white, we can do that too for the same cost.

If you scroll down, you can see the Halloween block as well as what these fall blocks look like done in white with a distressed edge.

The Halloween Images blocks are 3x3", the Fall with all the blocks together is 13" long and the tallest letter, the L, is 5".

Craft Group Ideas

In
stead of trying to get everyone together for a 'party' at night, the consensus is that people would rather just get together during the day- let the kids play and do a craft or just hang out. Here are some ideas for October:

Vinyl News

Okay, so apparantly not everyone got the message about Thursday. The plan was to have a vinyl party on Thursday evening, but since not everyone knew about it we're going to scrap it- at least in part. For those of you who have something in mind and would like to come over on Thursday to make an order- I'll be there. Also, in October I'd like to do a craft night where we can get together to make a halloween type craft- it would be between 5-7 dollars depending on the cost of supplies. If you're interested let me know.

If you are coming on Thursday- make sure you have measured the space where you want the item, or if you know if you want it on wood. Also, if you have a favorite font in mind, let me know, I either have it or can get it.

I'll post colors and prices today or tomorrow.

Vinyl Party

I've had to delay the dang party a couple of weeks now- I've had problems with my software- and then I blew out two blades working on a project- So I've got to push it back a little more. I'm shooting for Thursday, September 11. How does that work for everyone? I don't think it'll end up being a girls night as well, just because most of our kids are in school. If you want to combine in with a girls night and do it on Friday, the 12th, let me know. I'm game. I just didn't want to get in the way of anyone getting a date night.
